Jason Carlbom - Art Director

Jason focuses on Internet design and development and brings Kellen Creative a cohesive blend of technical, graphical and marketing expertise. In addition to his 20+ years of experience in creative design, Jason has worked within all platforms and is highly skilled in the latest technology for visual design, interface design, animation and site architecture. Before joining Kellen Creative, he served as Director for Internet/Intranet Development at MCI. Previously, he owned a Web design, multimedia and digital illustration studio, with clients that included IBM and Alltel. Jason holds a Visual Arts degree from The Art Institute of Atlanta. He is a member of the International Webmasters' Association, the HTML Writers Guild, the Webmasters' Guild and the Microsoft Internet Content Developers Group.

Josh Linard - Business Development Manager

Josh is responsible for establishing new business opportunities and for communicating with clients during project implementation. His thorough knowledge of marketing, internet and a variety of Web implementations, coupled with his proven ability to facilitate client/technical staff interface, make Josh the ideal person to ensure that clients' needs are met. In addition, Josh is an experienced spokesperson who has coordinated marketing efforts for various corporations and overseen production of software applications, e-Commerce projects, Web sites, newsletters, brochures, seminars and press releases, acting as a creative and technical force in all of these activities.

Josh holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Penn State University.

Keith Keeney - Vice President

Keith is responsible for the overall management of Kellen Creative, whose services include print design, corporate identity, meeting collateral, Web site design, development and marketing as well as, e-commerce, PR programs and much more. Since joining the parent company in 1981, Keith has directed communications programs for a variety of clients, coordinating publicity, marketing communications, media relations, generic product promotion and strategic planning. Kellen Creative was formed in 1997. Under Keith's direction, Kellen Creative has developed thousands of creative designs for print and web. A seasoned marketing and communications veteran with over 20 years of experience, Keith knows how to help associations and companies identify and achieve their communications objectives.

Keith holds a Bachelor's degree from Emory University.

June Price - Creative Director

June adds breadth and depth to Kellen Creative, with more than 15 years of expertise in graphic design. Her experience driving advertising campaigns, developing corporate identities and implementing marketing strategies has served our clients well. She put those skills to use as Art Director at World Financial Group (a multi-million dollar financial services firm) before bringing them to Kellen Creative. Prior to that, she worked for an ad agency whose clients included Bloomingdale's, Waldenbooks, Sears, Rich's and computer distributors/Internet marketing companies. Her background also includes valuable experience at Carlson Marketing Group, a well-known consumer marketing firm in the northwest United States. Her non-profit work includes valuable contributions to AIDS-Gwinnett, Jerusalem House and Hands on Atlanta.

June received a degree in Communication Arts/Public Relations from Georgia Southern University.

Brian Getkin - Manager, Web Development

Brian oversees the web development practices of Kellen Creative, and works with the business development, design and programming teams to craft innovative solutions that exceed our client expectations. Since joining the Kellen Creative team in 2003, Brian has been a driving force behind our custom web-based application development services, most recently expanding our open-source technology solutions.

Brian holds degrees in Communications / Media Arts from the State University of New York, Computer Programming and Web Development from The Cittone Institute and Audio Production from The Center for the Media Arts in New York City.

Matt Parry - Associate Manager, Client Solutions

Matt plays a critical role in project management and production coordination for Kellen Creative, and provides a critical eye on project requirements, scope and budgeting. Matt also is a member of the Project Management Institute and an active participant in management and leadership events locally in Atlanta. He earned a B.A. in Fine Art with computer science concentration, from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, a degree in multimedia and 3D animation at the Art Institute of Atlanta and completed a Masters of Information Technology in from Southern Polytechnic State University in December 2009.

Brad Huchteman - Web Specialist

Brad has over 7 years of Web experience and has deployed several hundred web sites during his career. His talents include front-end development, database design, Flash development, accessible site design and project management. Previously, he oversaw maintenance, redesigns, new development, and integration of third party systems for numerous Safeway (the grocery chain) sites and applications. He also worked closely with award-winning faculty at Georgia State University to create course content and interactive learning tools using Flash.

Dan VanHiel - Web Specialist

Dan is highly skilled at Internet-related graphic communications, including image manipulation, computer illustration/animation, and Flash. Prior to joining Kellen Creative, Dan worked as an Interactive Designer at Carroll/White Advertising creating Web sites, banner ads and rich email campaigns. His six years' experience as a Web Developer also includes service at AGL Resources, parent company of Atlanta Gas Light, as part of their award-winning Web team. His outstanding work included creation of CD-ROMs, interactive timelines and corporate Intranet enhancements. Dan is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, majoring in graphic communications.

Stan Samples - Internet Marketing Manager

Stan is responsible for assisting clients in implementing Internet marketing strategies such as Search Engine Optimization and @Site Marketing. His responsibilities include working with clients and staff to ensure maximum results with the major search engines, tracking and updating accounts and participating in the creative communications process. His site promotion skills have resulted in top rankings on major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask, AOL and others. His experience in marketing, public relations and "Start-Up" companies enhances his ability to market our clients nationally via the World Wide Web. Stan has over 20 years of writing, public relations and marketing experience with work in a variety of industries including beverages, entertainment, education, financial services, food, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, legal services, packaged goods, professional services, real estate, restaurant and technology.

Stan is a magna cum laude graduate of Georgia State University, with a BBA in marketing.

Jason Abney - e-Business Implementation Manager

Jason offers a dynamic blend of talents -- outstanding Web site development and design skills combined with a detailed knowledge of software applications. Most recently, Jason was employed by ChildPlus Software, where he maintained the company's Web site, provided technical support, tested new software applications and performed upgrades to existing software applications. Jason also has several years of Web site development and design experience for a variety of clients. He is extremely adept at utilizing the latest Web authoring tools and trains clients on Content Management software.

Jason attended LaGrange College and is currently pursuing his Master CIW Designer Certification at Oglethorpe University. He has earned the Certified Webmaster designation from the International Association of Web Masters and Designers.

David Sanchez - Database Developer

Dave has more than 20 years of extensive application and hardware system support experience and is highly skilled at identifying and designing database solutions for business environments. Dave has an extensive knowledge of LAN and WAN planning and installation, Visual Basic 6.0, Microsoft Access (1997 and 2000), assembly programming, basic electronics, HVAC power and more. He also has successfully completed several training courses, including IBM Hardware Diagnostic Training.

Dave holds a degree in Computer Science from Pensacola Junior College.

Mark Salmi - Senior Graphic Designer

Mark joined Kellen Creative after dedicating more than 9 years to the printing industry, where his duties included graphic design, layout, pre-press production and everything in-between. He also has a comprehensive knowledge of PC and Macintosh platforms, hardware and software troubleshooting and electronic file preparation. In addition, Mark assists Kellen Creative with the creation of Adobe Acrobat files for Web use. Mark's diverse experience has enabled him to provide all clients with timely, consistent and high-quality work.

Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the University of Akron, where he also minored in Illustration.

Doug Johnson - Manager, Information Systems

Doug brings a decade of systems experience and expertise to Kellen Interactive. Prior to joining the parent company, Doug managed the support for computer networks for a variety of companies as a specialist and consultant. His work with, and understanding of, vendors, programmers, end-users and customers has led to a unique ability to align technology with business needs.

Doug has a thorough knowledge of all major software applications and operating systems. He is a Certified Network Engineer and a member of The Network Professionals Association, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Science from Bridgewater State College.

Melba Searcy - Graphic Designer

With nine years' industry experience, Melba Searcy has worked with associations, non-profits, government and the entertainment industry. Before joining the team at Kellen, Melba designed for a national mechanical distribution corporation, created materials used by the State of Tennessee to recruit businesses, and did product design for a digital learning company. Melba gives back to the community by offering her expertise to nationally known and local non-profits and works with youth groups to expose them to careers in design.

Melba earned a Bachelors of Arts in Design from Hampton University in Virginia.

Joe Lain - Web Application Specialist

Joe has over 5 years of experience in the planning, production and deployment of Web projects. As one of Kellen Creative’s primary Web Application Specialists, Joe is responsible for Web site-related content, including site updates, SEO optimization and performance, custom PHP development and AJAX scripting, including complete management of numerous database-integrated Web sites.

Darin Galgano - Web Specialist

Darin is a lead Front-End Developer responsible for front-end Web development utilizing hand-coded HTML, CSS, Flash, ActionScript and JavaScript. Darin also assists with graphic design and creative direction of Web sites. He works with the team in determining the optimal solutions to meet client's needs and deciding which technologies work best to achieve project objectives. Darin also manages consultations with clients to provide advice on Web strategy, technologies, design and goals for the end product.

Chris Mahan - Graphic Designer

Chris Mahan began his career at Kellen Creative in 2006 as a graphic designer. Previously he was a designer for Kap & Company Advertising Services and Art Director for Thomas Vanderbilt Communications. A graduate of The Art Institute of Atlanta in the field of Visual Communications, Chris has over 15 years of industry experience. His design has brought life to projects for companies such as Coca Cola, Popeyes, Kleen-Tex, Research Chefs Association, and Air Forwarders Association, among many others. Chris specializes in corporate identities and branding.

Kate Grusich - Communications-Specialist

Kate is responsible for writing and editing effective marketing collateral, articles, newsletters and Web site content, as well as crafting detailed message points in an effort to increase readability and interest in client services and products. She also is skilled in social media techniques, managing and writing Twitter feeds and multiple consumer outreach blogs. Prior to joining Kellen Creative, Kate worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in the busy South Florida and Chicago metropolitan markets, covering beats including education, business, and politics.

Kate graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and additional concentrations in Spanish and Latin American and Iberian Studies.
